AIA Dallas Presents Second-Annual Tour of Homes

The Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Dallas) is pleased to announce the second-annual Tour of Homes will take place November 8th and 9th, 2008. Open to the public, the self-guided tour will showcase the finest residential architecture in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, as designed by Texas architects. The eight dwellings featured on last year’s tour explored the cutting edge of modern residential design. This year promises, once again, to demonstrate the wealth of talent possessed by our area’s best architects.

Tickets to the Home Tour will be $25 per person; individual homes may be visited for $10 per home on the day of the tour. Sponsorship opportunities for the tour are still available! Please contact Paula Clements, AIA Dallas Exec. Director, for sponsorship inquiries. Proceeds will benefit the Dallas Center for Architecture.

If you know of an exceptional home that deserves to be featured on this year’s Tour of Homes, applications are available at the AIA Dallas office or online. Entries are due July 15th, 2008 and are limited to homes designed by architects registered in the state of Texas.
